Ines De La Fressange + Uniqlo

Former muse to Karl Lagerfeld and Yves Saint Laurent, Ines de la Fressange embodies "effortless chic." Her recent "everyday luxury for every woman" collaboration with Uniqlo is just that, and at an incredibly affordable price point. And when my friend Rita, who has really great style, recently returned from New York with her perfect Ines peacoat, I promptly ordered one too.

From Vogue:

Coco Chanel said: “Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman,” and De la Fressange’s approach for Uniqlo perfectly encapsulates this mantra by that other stylish, masculine-inspired, French woman. Perfectly cut shirts, artfully rumpled jackets, simple chic trousers, a tightly edited palette; each piece is just what your wardrobe needs, without pulling any focus whatsoever.

I neglected to note what De la Fressange was wearing on the day we met, but rest assured she was as timelessly, tomboyishly, elegant as ever.

The whole line is so good. Like this coat...

This perfectly tailored denim shirt, this hooded sweatshirt and also this simple tote. And that is just to start. Check out the whole line here
